Star-crazed Rob Schneider arrives in Iceland

With frizzy, long hair and dressed in a colorful Hawaiian shirt, Hollywood star Rob Schneider arrived in Iceland on Tuesday to promote his new movie Deuce Bigalow: European.

Arriving from Barcelona he told the reporter from Vikur News (Víkurfréttir) that Iceland had been on his schedule last year because of how well his friend had spoken about the country.

“It’s great to be here,” he told Vikur News. “If Clint is watching then I hope he will put me in his new movie. I am available for shooting, so if you need anything Clint, just call!”

Schneider complimented the weather and people and said that he now had a “nice new stamp” in his passport and couldn’t wait to taste the beer.

He told Víkur News that he was excited that Clint Eastwood was in the country among the other famous people. He said that would definitely call Cameron Diaz while he was here. [It was reported that Diaz was traveling in Iceland last week.]

“I am excited to be on this island and also excited that Clint is here because he eats at the same restaurant I do!” said Schneider.
