Software Exports Increasing

Icelandic State Radio, RÚV, is reporting that almost 4 billion ISK of Icelandic software was exported last year, compared to 31 million 15 years ago. According to the Statistics Department of the Central Bank of Iceland, software exports totalled 3.9 billion ISK last year, an increase of over 15% from the previous year.

Software from Iceland is exported for a number of different functions, although RÚV did not identify the specific areas of growth.
