The Social Democratic Alliance has the largest support rating in Reykjavík, or 30.3 percent, according to the latest poll conducted by the University of Iceland’s Social Science Research Institute for Morgunblaðið.
The Independence Party measured the second largest support rating with 27.2 percent. According to these results, both parties are set to secure five seats in the Reykjavík City Council in the upcoming elections on May 31, ruv.is reports.
Bright Future is the third largest party with 19.7 percent, down from 24.4 percent in the last poll, followed by The Pirate Party are with 9.8 percent and the Left-Greens with 5.9 percent. Support for the Progressive Party has increased to 4.5 percent, up from 2 percent.
The poll was conducted from April 29 to May 6.
