Iceland is the first location in The Amazing Race’s soon-to-premiere 30th season. The first episode of the award-winning show’s newest season will premiere tonight on CBS. RÚV reported first.
As part of the race, competitors rode buggies in Mossfellsdalur valley near Reykjavík and rappelled across a river canyon.
This is the second time Iceland has been featured in the show. The first was 12 years ago and at the time was considered the biggest tourist promotion the country had ever received.
The film crew visited last October and filming lasted around one day.
