Smoke came up in the cockpit of a chartered Icelandair 767 aircraft yesterday. The plane, which was carrying 220 passengers from Caracas, Venezuela to Madrid, Spain, landed on the island of Guadaloupe in the Caribbean. Icelandic pilots were flying the plane, and the head flight attendant was also Icelandic. The cause of the incident is being investigated and the plane is still on Guadaloupe, although the passengers were sent on with another aircraft. Morgunbladid reports.
