The District Court of South Iceland handed a man a two-month suspended sentence on Thursday for breaking into a summer house in Grímsnes- og Grafningshreppur rural district in South Iceland last spring. The man later fell asleep on the premises.
The man was also convicted for stealing fishing gear, food products and other items, and for driving under the influence of drugs, ruv.is reports.
The thief was caught at the scene of the crime; when the police arrived, they found him sound asleep in a bed inside the summer house.
