Most of the ski resorts in Iceland will be open over Christmas with the exception of Oddsskarð in East Iceland and Skálafell in the capital area.

The other capital area ski resort Bláfjöll was closed last week due to strong wind but was scheduled to reopen as soon as the weather conditions allowed.
Skálafell will be open during weekends from February 1 until Easter, weather permitting, visir.is reports.
Hlíðarfjall in Akureyri, North Iceland, will be open every day over the holidays except on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
