Sixty Percent of Young Icelanders Consider Emigrating

Fifty-six percent of 18 to 29-year-olds in Iceland have considered moving abroad, according to the latest MMR poll.

Overall, around 40 percent of Icelanders have considered moving abroad in the last few months.

Those who live in the capital area and who do not support the current government are more likely to consider moving abroad, the study found, ruv.is reports.

Almost 1,000 people 18 years and older were surveyed.
