Icelandic National Broadcasting Service, RÚV, reports that Sir David Attenborough received an honorary doctorate at the University of Iceland at the graduation ceremonies held last Saturday.
Sir David Attenborough is a well-known and distinguished British producer of television programmes, probably best known for the documentary series “Life on Earth”. According to the website of the BBC, his career “spans more than 50 years” and includes ” political broadcasts, archaeological quizzes, short stories, gardening and religious programmes.” Sir David is also the author of several books.
