The operation was carried out by the Reykjavík Metropolitan Police as well as the Suðurnes Police in the southwest in cooperation with the National Commissioner of the Icelandic Police and customs authorities.

Last week, police raided an amphetamine factory in Reykjavík and a workshop in Hafnarfjörður. According to ruv.is, both premises were being used by the motorcycle club.
