See Iceland in 360°

By Iceland Review

At ja.is, Iceland‘s phone directory, it is now possible to see 360° images of streets and buildings in Reykjavík and around Iceland. This service is similar to the one currently offered by Google Maps.

“We are better, more user friendly and have more places in our street view than Google; such as Bolungarvík, Vestmannaeyjar, and Raufarhöfn,” Já’s project manager Telma Eir Aðalsteinsdóttir told visir.is.

Last summer, the company’s driver traveled on a specially equipped vehicle around Iceland, taking 4 million pictures for the new page, which are now accessible at ja.is.

Therefore, you can start your journey around Iceland on your computer today.
