Legendary hip-hop outfit Wu-Tang Clan, FKA twigs, Kelis, Skream, Tale Of Us, Hjálmar, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs (DJ), Nick Curly and Agent Fresco are among the latest additions to this year’s lineup at Secret Solstice music festival, held in Reykjavík June 19-21, as announced last week.
Also on the bill are Australian dance act Flight Facilities, reggae act The Wailers, famous for being founded by the surviving members of Bob Marley & The Wailers, Charles Bradley, Nightmares On Wax, Green Velvet, Miss Kittin, Foreign Beggars, MØ, Mugison, Wankelmut, Uni Stefson, Young Karin and Vio.
As the name suggests, the festival capitalizes on the long summer days in Iceland with the event taking place during the summer solstice weekend. The festival ground is located in Laugardalur valley with a camping ground and Laugardalslaug swimming pool on site.
