Search for Artur Continues Tomorrow

The search for 26-year-old Artur Jarmoszko will continue tomorrow, RÚV reports. This is the conclusion of a meeting of police and ICE-SAR (the Icelandic Search and Rescue Association), held at noon.

The Icelandic Coast Guard helicopter will fly over the search area tomorrow, but rescue workers will resume their search on Saturday. The focus will be on the area from Grótta in Seltjarnarnes to the harbor in Kópavogur, just south of Reykjavík.

On Saturday, rescue workers will search on foot and in boats, in addition to using drones, and the Icelandic Coast Guard helicopter may be employed as well.

Artur is Polish, but has lived in Iceland for five years. He was last seen in downtown Reykjavík just before midnight on February 28.

The case is being investigated as a missing person case. Police state there is no indication of foul play.
