The documentary Screaming Masterpiece produced by Ari Alexander Ergis Magnusson, Sigurjon Sighvatsson, Thor Snaer Sigurjonsson og Skuli Fr. has received roughly 7 million ISK from the Eurimages Fund.
Screaming Masterpiece is about pop music, its roots and its recent worldwide success. Minutely interviews with Bjork and other Icelandic as well as foreign artists, but first and foremost the emphasis is on the music itself.
Sigridur Margret Vigfusdottir, manager of MEDIA in Iceland says according to Morgunbladid that Screaming Masterpiece got excellent responses from the judges. Furthermore she says that the Eurimages support is not only financially important but also an important hallmark for the director and main scriptwriter Ari Alexander as well as other the producers.
The documentary is in full production and hopefully we can lay our eyes on it by the end of this year.
