A resident of downtown Reykjavík contacted the police around last night, notifying them of frightening screams he had heard, vísir.is reports. He was concerned that a serious crime was being committed.

Before the police had the chance to arrive on the scene, the concerned citizen telephoned again informing them that he had set out to investigate the matter and found the screaming man walking down the street. The screaming man explained that he had just come from an exercise in theatrical expression with a group of actors he belongs to.
Without realizing the consequences, he had continued practicing as he walked home.
