Saxophone and Pre-Poland Tour Concert

The respected saxophone player Andrew D’Angelo will play in concert in Rósenberg in Reykjavík on Friday along with drummer Einar Scheving, pianist Kjartan Valdemarsson, trumpet player Snorri Sigurðsson and bassist Valdimar Kolbeinn Sigurjónsson.

On Thursday evening Pikknikk, Myrra Rós and Low Roar will play in a joint concert also in Rósenberg to warm up for their tour in Poland in late January, Morgunblaðið reports.

Myrra Rós has been working on an album in the past months which is scheduled to be released by Geimsteinn in February.

Meanwhile, Lay Low, whose latest album Brostinn strengur received critical acclaim, tweeted yesterday that she is back in the studio.
