The program is part of the Imagine Reykjavík festivities and held to mark the reception of time capsules about Lennon which Box of Vision LLC, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum and Lennon’s widow Yoko One had made to commemorate his 70th birthday on October 9, a press release explains.

Today, Illugi Jökulsson, the author of the only book about Lennon originally written in Icelandic, will participate in the program and the band Robert the Roommate, which won the Lennon cover competition on the radio station Rás 2, will perform.

Coffee and pancakes will be on offer. The program is open to everyone and all are welcome.
