SAS-Braathens, the Norwegian branch of Scandinavian Airlines, announced yesterday that it would offer scheduled flights between Oslo and Keflavík starting March 26, next year. According to news station NFS, SAS plans to fly to Iceland three times per week with the lowest one way fare costing ISK 7,500 taxes included. The flights will continue throughout the summer thereafter SAS will evaluate whether it will continue to offer flights in the fall.
Earlier this year, British Airways announced that it would start scheduled flights between London Gatwick and Keflavik airport March 2006.
