Low-cost airline Ryanair has denied media reports claiming it had added Iceland to its destination list for next summer.
The reports that appeared in the Icelandic media were based on information published earlier this week in the newsletter of the Icelandic Airline Pilots’ Association. This is reported in Fréttabladid today.
Ryanair’s press officer in Dublin told Fréttabladid that the airline has made no decisions on whether Iceland should be a destination. “Keflavík is among dozens of airports in Europe that Ryanair does not serve, but that is constantly under review.”
