Reykjavík Police to Auction off Bikes

More than 100 bicycles will be auctioned off by the Reykjavík Metropolitan Police’s lost-and-found division on Saturday, June 9, at 1 pm. These are bikes that have been found across the jurisdiction and no one has picked up.

Such auctions have a long history and they are usually crowded by people who compete for the best bikes, reports.

Tomorrow’s auction will be held at the facilities of Vaka on Skútuvogur 8 in Reykjavík.

The police’s bicycle storage is located on Borgartún 7b, where people can come and look for their missing bikes. It is open on Tuesdays from 9 am to 12 at noon.
