Reykjavík Music Mess Begins in One Week

A new music festival, Reykjavík Music Mess, kicks off on April 15. The full lineup for NASA and the Nordic House has now been announced, including Reykjavík!, Einar Örn Benediktsson, Miri, Borko, Sin Fang, Mugison, Aela, Kippi Kaninus and kimono.

The festival will also see “the first gig on Icelandic soil by ‘ambient-punk’ four piece Deerhunter” from the US and Nive Nielsen from Greenland, who was recently nominated for the Nordic Council Music Prize. She will perform with her band The Deer Children.

Package deals are available via the RMM website, including flights, festival tickets and hotel deals and an embeddable playlist of performing bands is available via the Icelandic MP3 streaming website Gogoyoko.
