Five Reykjavík City museums—Viðey Island Museum, Reykjavík Museum of Photography, Reykjavik 871 +/-2 The Settlement Exhibition, Víkin The Reykjavik Maritime Museum and Árbær Open Air Museum—will unite on June 1.
The new cultural and historical museum needs a new name and the Reykjavík City Council has asked people to send in their suggestions to [email protected] before April 1.
The winner will receive a Reykjavík Culture Pass for two, a coffee table photography book by Reykjavík photographer Magnús Ólafsson and dinner for two at Viðey, Víkin or Víð Tjörnina, mbl.is reports.
