Multicultural Day will be celebrated in Reykjavík May 28. The program begins with a parade at 1 pm. The idea is to bring together representatives from various groups to the parade. Participants are encouraged to bring flags or banners representative of their group. Anyone can participate. You can register for the parade here.
Between 2 and 5 pm, there will be a market at Harpa concert hall, where art and craft, design, food and culture from various countries will be introduced. Outside Harpa, there will be a party tent, where many different foods can be sampled.
This will be followed by live entertainment from 2:30-4:30 pm. Among those performing will be the band Amabadama, Non Quai Thao dance and the Múltíkúltí Choir. For more information, visit this website.
