Reykjavík Mayor Dagur B. Eggertsson has sent Berlin Mayor Michael Müller a letter of condolence, following last night’s attack in Berlin, which left 12 people dead and dozens injured.
In the letter he states than on behalf of all the residents of Reykjavík he offers his deepest condolences due to the tragic events at the Breitscheidplatz Christmas market last night.
“Our thoughts are with the victims, the residents of Berlin and all those who have been hurt by this inexplicable, atrocious act,” the letter concludes.
