The 27th Reykjavík Jazz Festival will be held at Harpa Concert Hall August 10-14. It opens on Wednesday, August 10, at 5 pm, with a jazz parade from Hlemmur to Harpa Concert Hall. The festival celebrates the Icelandic jazz scene in addition to featuring collaborative projects and international jazz stars.
Guests can choose between purchasing festival passes, day passes or tickets to single events. Performances at Kaldalón and Budvar stage are free of charge. Tickets are available at reykjavikjazz.is, at Harpa ticket sales or on line at tix.is.
Events will include New sensational Latin music performed by Tómas Einarsson and Sigríður Thorlacius, a jam session with Stefan Bauer, Snarky Puppy from the USA, Family Flosason jam, and the Bobo Stenson Trio, just to name a few.
