The 2016 edition of the Reykjavík Jazz Festival opened in Iceland’s capital yesterday with marching musicians. Running through August 14 with concerts in Harpa, the program includes Latin music performed by Tómas Einarsson and Sigríður Thorlacius, a jam session with Stefan Bauer, Snarky Puppy from the USA, Family Flosason jam, and the Bobo Stenson Trio.
Guests can choose between purchasing festival passes, day passes or tickets to single events. Performances at Kaldalón and Budvar stage are free of charge.
