Fjalakötturinn Film Club is offering weekly screenings of alternative and classic movies in Tjarnarbíó cinema in central Reykjavík at 3 pm, 5 pm, 8 pm and 10 pm on Sundays and Mondays between February 17 and March 24.
The film club promises a “diverse and rich” program comprised of 18 films divided into four main categories: International success, new German cinema, Nordic cinema and Truffaut – women and love, as well as special events every week.
Fjalakötturinn’s main objective is to project first-class movies and thereby enrich film culture in Reykjavík by screening films that usually do not find their ways into the capital’s main cinemas.
