Reykjavík Fashion Festival Announces Foreign Guests

rff_logoReykjavík Fashion Festival announced last week some of the foreign guests that will attend the festival, running from March 14 to 16 this year. RFF 2013’s guest of honor will be fashion and celebrity photographer Roxanne Lowit.

Lowit’s work has been published in magazines such as Vogue, Vanity Fair and Tatler and exhibited in many prominent museums and galleries, including New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art and Whitney Museum of American Art and London’s Albert Museum.

During her career of more than 40 years, Lowit has photographed some of the world’s most influential artists, designers and movie stars. Among her models are Andy Warhol, Salvador Dali, Yves Saint-Laurent, Johnny Depp, George Clooney and Scarlett Johansson.

These are the other foreign guests who have confirmed their attendance at RFF 2013:

Alessandra Pellegrino, fashion journalist for Italian Glamour and VOGUE.it; Ananda Pellerin contributor for Another Magazine; Beatrice Graf, fashion editor for VOGUE Germany; Edda Guðmundsdóttir, stylist for numerous brands and celebrities including Diane Von Furstenberg, Lady Gaga and L’Oreal; Elisabeta Tudor, fashion journalist for STANDARD magazine in Paris and NOWFASHION.com; Emanuele D’Angelo, Italian photographer and founder of lifestyle page livincool.com and photographer for Purple Magazine; Hermine Coyet Ohlen, editor-in-chief for ELLE Sweden; Jeffrey Podolsky, a freelance journalist for People magazine, Tatler and The Wall Street Journal, among other publications; Jo Piazza, fashion journalist for fashionista.com; and Signy Fardal, editor-in-chief for ELLE Norway.
