Around 400 people, including a record 180 foreigners, will take part in the Reykjavík Bridge Festival, which formally opens at Hotel Natura on Thursday.

Among the participants are a group of 70 individuals from Norway. Special guests include Zia Mahmood, the German national team and strong players from Denmark and Sweden. Norwegian player Tor Helness, who was among the winners at the 2012 European Champions’ Cup, will also attend Morgunblaðið reports.
A total of 160 pairs are registered to play. The Star Wars Pro/AM 2013 will be held tomorrow night.
