Tomorrow and Thursday American musicians John Primer and Michael Burks will take the stage at the same location. All of the festival’s three main concerts will begin at 8 pm.
Grammy Award winner John Primer is an experienced rhythm guitarist who has played with as legendary artists as Magic Slim and the Teardrops, Muddy Waters and Willie Dixon, as stated on the festival’s website.
“Very few living bluesmen are able to interpret authentic Chicago blues with such emotion and precision and for this reason John Primer is known as ‘The Real Deal’.”
Michael Burks, or the “Iron Man”, is a major contemporary blues figure. He is said to successfully blend intense electric guitar blues with unbridled rock and roll energy. He garnered considerable attention when Alligator Records released his first album in 2001.
