Repeat Offender Suspected of Abusing Young Man

Ágúst Magnússon, a convicted child abuser, has been charged with having sexually abused a young man with disabilities earlier this year while still on probation because of earlier crimes.

He was arrested in his home earlier this month. His home was raided and computers confiscated—he is believed to have come in contact with the victim via the online dating site, reports.

Magnússon was sentenced to five years in prison in 2004 for the brutal sexual assault of young boys.

In 2007 he took the bait laid by news analysis program Kompás believing he was going on a rendezvous with a 13-year-old at which time he was still on probation.
