Renewable Energy Center Established in South Iceland

A renewable energy center or “park” has been set up in Sólheimar in Grímsnes in south Iceland. The goal of the center is to provide education on renewable energy sources, reports.

Visitors are able to view solar panels, windmills, and a display on how geothermal energy is produced, as well as learn about bioenergy sourced from organic material for production of fertilizers and fuel.
