Record Number of Airlines Fly to Iceland

This year, twenty-five airlines will offer scheduled flights to Keflavík International Airport from more than 80 cities on the both sides of the Atlantic Ocean. In 2010, only ten airlines flew to and from Iceland, Víkurfréttir, Keflavík, reports. Ten years ago, they were five.

Last year, 4.8 million passengers traveled through KEF airport. This year, they are expected to be 6.7 million.
