Reckless Driver Flees Stunning Viking Woman

A woman, whose car was rear-ended as she drove down Ártúnsbrekka hill in Reykjavík Sunday, took matters into her own hands when the driver fled the scene, Vísir reports. A westbound chase pursued. For a while, she lost sight of the reckless driver, but found him again in Súðavogur, at a car repairs shop, where he sat inside his car, which was parked beside a 4×4 he had just crashed into.

Frightened at the sight of the warrior woman, the driver jumped out of the vehicle and ran up the road. His passenger, facing danger, took the driver’s seat and drove off.

The woman, eager to collect fingerprints, managed to retrieve a glass of beer from the road hogs before they escaped. She also wrote down the license plate number of their car, which she provided police with when they arrived at the scene.

“This was an amazing woman, absolutely stunning and middle-aged,” Gunnar M. Zóphaníasson, who operates the car repairs shop Tengsli in Súðavogur, exclaimed. “She’s an Icelandic Viking. We need more of those.”

The 4×4, which the reckless driver wrecked, was in for repairs and had been parked outside. It was damaged before the collision, which did not improve its condition.

The story should have ended here, but Vísir reports that when the owner of the 4×4 was contacted, he was puzzled. It appears his son took the vehicle without permission. The case is being investigated by police.
