RAX recently published a large coffee table book, Fjalland (Behind the Mountains in English) through Crymogea publishing house.

Born in 1958, RAX is Iceland’s leading photographer, best known for his black and white documentary Leica photography. His latest book is his first with images only from Iceland.

RAX also launched a photo exhibition with images from the book yesterday. The exhibition, being held at Harpa concert hall, runs until September 18. Admission is free.
