Raven Songs and Musical Instrument Workshop

There is a myriad of Icelandic songs about ravens, some of which are well known but others lesser known. Reykjavík City Library is hosting a “fun and educational” program about ravens for older preschoolers and younger school children on Sunday at 3 pm.

The program, which includes song, musical instruments, stories and pictures, is organized by Bára Grímsdóttir and Christ Foster with focus on folksongs. Admission is free and all are welcome. The City Library is located on Tryggvagata 15.

Today, all who are interested can join a free course on the making of musical instruments in the LornaLAB workshop at the Reykjavík Art Museum Hafnarhús building between 1 and 5 pm. For further information, visit the museum’s website.
