Prince Andrew visits “Icelandic” football club

Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, UK, visited the headquarters of football club West Ham in Upton Park yesterday, which Icelandic investors recently gained ownership of.

With his visit, the prince wanted to honor the new owners of West Ham. Prince Andrew has been active in trying to get foreign investors to the UK. Morgunbladid reports.

During his visit at Upton Park, Prince Andrew had lunch with West Ham’s managing director, Icelandic entrepreneur Eggert Magnússon and his wife Gudlaug Nanna Ólafsdóttir.
