Priest Stars in Bloody Icelandic Horror Movie

Rev. Kristinn L. Fridfinnsson is among actors cast for a new Icelandic horror movie by Júlíus Kemp Reykjavík Whale Watching Massacre. The film has been in preparation for five years and shooting began yesterday.

“I’m not particularly bloody,” Rev. Fridfinnsson told Fréttabladid, adding that he doesn’t worry that his role in the film will jeopardize his credibility as a priest. “It is just like any other form of art.”

A host of well-known actors, both Icelandic and foreign, star in Kemp’s Reykjavík Whale Watching Massacre, including Helgi Björnsson, Thorvaldur Davíd and Gunnar Hansen and Japanese actress Nae Yuuki.
