The annual exhibition of the Icelandic Press Photographers’ Association opened at the Gerdarsafn art museum in Kópavogur yesterday, where the best press photographs taken in 2010 are on display.

The exhibition “Burma: Líf í fjötrum” by photographer Thorkell Thorkelsson about the daily life in Burma opened at Gerdarsafn at the same time. Both exhibitions will run through April 10.
In other art-related news, Sara Marcell Maynard of the Creative Growth Art Center in Oakland, California, will give a presentation in English about art and people with disabilities at the National Museum of Iceland on March 2 at 12 noon in cooperation with Art Without Borders.
Admission to the presentation is free and all are welcome.
