Icelandic President Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson is currently on an official visit to the Czech Republic. On Thursday morning he and Czech President Václav Klaus discussed the consequences of the economic crisis for Europe and the continent’s financial stability.

The meeting, which was held in the Prague Castle, marked the beginning of Ólafur Ragnar’s visit, ruv.is reports.
In the evening, the Icelandic presidential couple, the Icelandic delegation, including Foreign Minister Össur Skarphéðinsson, and representatives of the Icelandic financial sector joined President Klaus and his wife Livia Klausová for a celebratory dinner at the castle.
