Presentation on Global Warming at National Museum

Christian Keller, professor at Oslo University, will give an open presentation entitled “From the Little Ice Age to Global Warming. Is Archaeology Relevant?” at the National Museum of Iceland today at 3 pm.

Keller has a background in underwater research and has worked in many different parts of the world, including Switzerland, Turkey, Cypress and Thailand.

For the past decade, Keller has primarily focused on research in the North Atlantic in relation to the Viking Era and the Middle Ages, in Norway, Iceland, Greenland and Newfoundland.

His field of interest is the settlement of Nordic people and their culture with special emphasis on agricultural relics.
