Pre-Election Voting Twice that of Last Election

Pre-election voting in Reykjavík is double what it was at the last election four years ago.

A total of 2,330 people had voted in Reykjavík as of Wednesday, compared to 1,207 at the same time before the elections in 2009, reports.

Nationally, a total of 5,544 individuals have voted in pre-election voting. Roughly 500 people have voted each day in recent days.
