Advocate of Reykjavík District Court and lawyer at the law firm Opus, Oddgeir Einarsson, has confirmed that the organizers of SnowGathering, which was to be held in Iceland this month, have sought their legal rights.
The estimated 100 attendees of the adult film conference had booked rooms at Radisson SAS Saga Hotel in Reykjavík. The planned conference was criticized by many, including Mayor of Reykjavík Vilhjálmur Th. Vilhjámsson, so Saga Hotel revoked the hotel reservations of the conference attendees.
According to Fréttabladid, a lawsuit against Saga Hotel is being prepared. Einarsson said data is currently being gathered and that a decision about the next step will be made soon.
