Indie folk-acoustic trio Domowe Melodie entered the Polish music scene with a blast last year, quickly gaining popularity for homemade music videos and following them up with a critically-acclaimed self-released debut. The band is now set to tour Iceland in July.
“This summer they will make their dream happen— Iceland has been on their dream destination map for a very long time,” writes muzykaislandzka.pl. “Justyna, Staszek and Kuba will play five concerts, travel over two thousand kilometers, meet local people and explore the nature.”
The band will arrive in Seyðisfjörður, East Iceland, on July 11 where the first concert will take place the same day in Kaffi Lára. The second concert is scheduled the following day at the Backpackers Hostel in Akureyri in the north.
The first two concerts are free but tickets for the following three—at Við Árbakkann in Blönduós, Northwest Iceland, Edinborgarhúsið in Ísafjörður, the West Fjords, and the Nordic House in Reykjavík, cost ISK 1,000 (USD 8, EUR 6).
In Reykjavík Icelandic musician Myrra Rós will perform with Domowe Melodie.
