A three-day political festival will be held in the Nordic House in Reykjavík, June 11-13, 2015. As part of the festival, internationally-acclaimed documentary Blueberry Soup will be screened on June 12 at 8:30 pm.
Director Eileen Jerrett, who describes the film as an exploration of Iceland’s constitutional assembly, will be present and available for a Q&A session after the screening along with key participants, author and activist Andri Snær Magnason, lawyer and constitutional assembly member Katrín Oddsdóttir, musician Svavar Knútur and politician Jón Þór Ólafsson.
The festival, organized by the Icelandic Constitutional Society and the Pirate Party, was inspired by similar festivals held in the other Nordic countries.
Guests will be able to participate in seminars about current affairs such as the war in Syria, new ways of measuring prosperity, human rights, tourism in Iceland, the Icelandic nature and other issues.
In between panel discussions Icelandic musicians will perform.
