There will be Polish movie days in Bíó Paradís, an independent cinema on Hverfisgata in central Reykjavík, June 10-12. Four films from the 1950s and 1960s will be screened.

The opera singer Gabriela de Silva will perform at the opening tonight at 7 pm. Admission is free. All films will be screened with English subtitles, Morgunbladid reports.
Bíó Paradís is currently also hosting “A Summer of Icelandic Cinema” with old and new movies and documentaries from the local film scene being screened every day with English subtitles.
