The arrangement of the book is described as a mystical journey through Iceland following the path of the novel’s main characters to discover adventure, people and events which are believed to be grounded in historical truth.

The publisher, ARISA, based in Akureyri, aims to become the main publisher of Polish books written in the country.

Polish citizens represent the largest group of foreigners in Iceland. Around 9,000 Poles out of a total 20,100 foreign citizens call Iceland home. According to the Icelandic Tourist Board, the number of tourists from Poland who visited Iceland in August is up by 2.8 percent from the same period last year.

More information (in Polish) about the book can be found here and here.
