Polish investors buy old tractors

Two Polish investors are traveling around Iceland to buy old tractors of the brands Zetor and Ursus. They came to Iceland for the same purpose last year.

Ingólfur Helgason, a farmer in Borgarfjördur, west Iceland, was paid a visit by the Polish investors yesterday. “I managed to get rid of four old tractors. They had been bought at different times and were in different condition,” he told Fréttabladid.

Helgason said the Poles had made a good impression on him and that they had left a calendar behind with pictures of new Klas tractors that they are selling.

The Polish investors apparently want to renovate the old tractors and sell them to farmers in Poland.
