Police Special Forces Called Out Due to Toy Guns

The Special Forces of the Icelandic police were called out to an apartment in Hátún in central Reykjavík around 7 pm on Saturday night after receiving a report that people were walking around armed with rifles.

When the Special Forces arrived to the scene it turned out that these people were on their way to a Halloween party and that they were carrying toy guns, Morgunbladid reports.

According to police, those who walk around with very detailed replicas of guns in public can expect to encounter problems.
