The Reykjavík Metropolitan Police are seeking to speak to the parents of four boys aged 12-13 who were involved in the attack of a six-year-old boy at a playground in Reykjavík suburb Breiðholt over the weekend.

The boy was found lying covered in blood after being attacked by the four older boys. He sustained a bloody nose and sprained arm, mbl.is reports.
The police were reportedly not informed about the incident and only started to investigate the events after reading about them in daily newspaper Fréttablaðið yesterday.
Details of the case have come from a witness who reportedly followed the boy to his home and spoke with his parents after seeing the events unfold. The police would also like to speak with the parents of the victim.
